Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to have a unique elegance in the rooms that couldn't be overlooked, despite some issues with lighting and residual smoke smell from the restaurant. The air conditioning was a bit challenging to regulate, but the rooms were still cozy.
The hotel had a room that was a little the worse for wear but comfortable, equipped with a double bed, safe, tea things, and multi-channel television, although not meeting the hotel standards. The service in China was rude but could communicate in English, including offerings like the spa center. The location was well-appointed and convenient, close to the metro and an upscale mall, with an array of food options. The dining experience ranged from delicious and beyond expectation to unimaginative and mass-produced. The facilities reflected the need for updates.
The hotel initially designated as smoke-free and offered European standard rooms. My room was at the end of the hallway, which slightly affected my rating from a 3-star to a 2-star.
The hotel had well-designed, smallish rooms, but the Executive Suite was uncomfortably hot with no AC. The staff was accommodating and knowledgeable, suitable for various types of guests. The location was very central, close to amenities but inconvenient for sightseeing. Dining options were good overall, but expensive at the bar.
